Een leefstijlmap

Gezondheid zou je holistisch moeten benaderen, terwijl wetenschap het vooral van hokjesdenken moet hebben. In dit artikel zijn vijfentwintig hokjes voor leefstijlmaatregelen bedacht: aangrijpingspunten voor een gezond leven. Je zult merken dat geen enkel hokje op zich bestaat, maar ze verwijzen naar elkaar om toch tot een holistisch beeld te komen. Epidemiologie is vaak de enige bron van onze kennis van een hokje, die echter gebrekkig causale verbanden kan aantonen. Onze kennis is dus onvolkomen en het zijn dan ook geen vijfentwintig adviezen.
