Het mysterie van lyme
De voortbrenger van de ziekte van Lyme geeft haar geheimen niet prijs. Feit is dat veel patiënten met symptomen blijven zitten en dat de lymebacterie goed uitgerust is om in het lichaam te 'persisteren'. Toch is het moeilijk te bewijzen wat op het eerste gezicht zo vanzelfsprekend lijkt: dat die symptomen effectief veroorzaakt worden door persisterende bacteriën. Precies die paradox wordt in dit artikel uitgespit. Als appendix bespreken we het potentieel van fytotherapie.
