Voedselallergieën zijn samen met andere allergieën in opmars, daarover ging het eerder verschenen artikel 'Intolerant voor voeding' (Voedingsgeneeskunde, 2023/6). Een van de redenen is dat in de jaren negentig van de vorige eeuw gekozen werd voor een totaal verkeerde preventiestrategie voor babyvoeding. Het onderzoek heeft gelukkig de laatste tien jaar een grote sprong voorwaarts genomen. Daarover gaat dit tweede deel over voedselallergie.
