Zelden wordt er een verband gelegd tussen co-enzym Q10 en kanker. Toch speelt coQ10 een belangrijke rol, zowel in preventie als bij behandeling van kanker. Preventie, niet alleen door zijn sterke antioxidant- en DNA-beschermende capaciteiten, maar ook omdat coQ10 een rol speelt in zeer diverse processen, waarbij de tussenkomst van coQ10 onontbeerlijk is voor de fysiologische afwikkeling ervan.
