Kauwgom. Velen gebruiken het dagelijks, niet alleen voor een frisse smaak en geur maar ook vanwege de bescherming tegen tandbederf. Deze Europees erkende werking is te danken aan xylitol. Minder bekend is dat deze zoetstof ook andere positieve gezondheidseffecten kan hebben.
